Think the OP is wrong... I'm pretty sure it's only on Sky Atlantic rather than Netflix. Missus wanted to watch it but those crafty fuckers at Sky keep any decent drama exclusively for Atlantic so you can't get it on Virgin... or Netflix/Amazon Prime

btw the killer is Donald Sutherland,he didn't like the fact that his son in law cheated on his wife and had another child.
Like he said to the Head of school "you don't know what being Ugly is ".

It’s interesting that this is ‘inspired by’ the book (you should have known) and not a direct retelling.
It means even if you’ve read it, the ending can and probably will be very different indeed
I reckon the creepy son did it. Either thy at or Kidman’s character is going to be shown to have some kind of memory loss/schizophrenia issue. The ‘unreliable narrator’ trope is not often used, but can be really effective when done well and the flashbacks and random images that pop up when she’s questioned about something she claims to know nothing about suggest she knows far more than she’s letting on
And yes, Kidman is still gorgeous
